Privacy Policy for PieceFlow
1. Introduction
PieceFlow: HD Jigsaw Puzzles ("PieceFlow") is a mobile game developed and published by Kulaswan Tech ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you install and use PieceFlow on your Android device.
We respect your privacy. PieceFlow is designed with privacy-first principles: we do not collect your personal identifying information, your custom photos remain strictly on your device, and core gameplay works completely offline.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
When you use PieceFlow, we do not collect or request:
- Personal Identifiers: We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, or any government-issued identification.
- User Accounts: You do not need to create an account, log in, or connect social media profiles to play the game.
- Precise Location Data: We do not access, track, or collect your GPS location.
- Camera or Microphone: We do not request or access camera or audio recording capabilities on your device.
- Contacts or Device Files: We do not scan, read, or collect your address book or broader device media storage.
3. Custom Photo Puzzles & Media Handling
PieceFlow includes a feature that lets players turn their own photos into custom jigsaw puzzles.
- Standard Android Photo Picker: When you select a photo, the app opens the standard system photo picker. PieceFlow only receives access to the specific photo you choose. It cannot see or access other photos or folders on your device.
- 100% On-Device Processing: The selected image is sliced into puzzle pieces entirely within your device's local memory. The photo is never sent to our servers, never saved to cloud storage, and never shared with third parties.
- Your Photos Remain Private: Neither Kulaswan Tech nor anyone else has access to the photos you choose to play with.
4. Offline Gameplay & Locally Stored Data
PieceFlow is designed to work offline. You can play both curated puzzle collections and custom photo puzzles without Wi-Fi or mobile data.
To provide a continuous gameplay experience, PieceFlow saves certain game information locally on your device:
- Game Progress: Solved puzzles, stars earned, best completion times, and earned game coins.
- Active Puzzle State: Piece positions and board state so you can resume a puzzle in progress.
- Player Settings: Sound effects, haptic vibrations, piece shapes, and accessibility preferences.
All of this data is stored solely in your device's local application storage and is not transmitted to Kulaswan Tech servers.
5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
PieceFlow is free to play and is supported by advertisements. We integrate the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display ads.
- When Ads Appear: When connected to the internet, interstitial advertisements may appear after you complete a puzzle. Ads are not displayed during active puzzle assembly.
- Information Handled by Google: To serve relevant ads, monitor ad performance, and prevent fraud, Google AdMob and Google Play Services may automatically collect device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID), IP address for general geographic region, and interaction data with ads.
- Opting Out of Personalized Ads: You can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time through your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads. Playing in offline mode also prevents any ad requests from being made.
6. Analytics & Crash Diagnostics (Firebase)
To maintain game performance and fix unexpected errors, PieceFlow uses Google Firebase services when connected to the internet:
- Crashlytics (Crash Reporting): If the game crashes unexpectedly, anonymous technical crash reports (such as error stack traces, device model, and operating system version) are recorded so we can fix bugs in future updates. These reports do not include personal data or your photos.
- Firebase Analytics: Aggregated in-game events (such as puzzles started, puzzles completed, and hint usage) help us evaluate gameplay balance and difficulty. This data is non-identifying. You can also turn off analytics anytime in the in-game Settings menu.
- Remote Config: Periodically synchronizes gameplay parameters and ad pacing intervals to ensure optimal gameplay balance.
